TimeRanger lets you define any type and any number of events to be timed. It will alert you visually and audibly or run any program when events reach due time. You can define absolute or relative time events to be repeated daily, weekly, monthly or yearly. Recurring events are automatically adjusted to their next value once they have past. TimeRanger keeps you informed of the events you missed when the machine was turned off. The "Atomic Time" option keeps your system clock aligned with the time server of your choice, over the Internet. Included is a list of more than one hundred Atomic time servers worldwide to choose from. "Accounts Keeper" keeps track and cumulates every second spent doing any user defined task. Enter an hourly rate and it will calculate the global cost. If you run some kind of a Help Desk, bill your customers on an hourly basis or simply want to know how much time you have spent doing any thing, you need this. "Sound Maker" lets you create alarm sounds for your Internal PC speaker. These sounds can be attached to your timed events so you won''t miss them when they reach due time. This freeware makes javascript (DHTML) window explorer like tree menus (which are great for frames or on the left side of the page) or drop down tree menus (the kind you see at the top of many web sites). These tree menus work in all major browsers (Internet Explorer 4-6, Netscape 4-6, Opera) and many other browsers. The program is easy to use. It does not require any javascript programming. It has a graphical interface. You see the tree as you create it; you can drag and drop, copy, cut and paste branches. It has both a CSS editor and a simple HTML editor built in, which allows you to make changes very quickly. There are many options. You can make a vertical tree or a horizontal tree. You choose your own folder images or choose not to use folder images. You select your indents, fonts, margins, tree menu background color, whether to begin each page with an open tree or closed tree. You can insert any HTML code anywhere in the tree. This freeeware will save you a lot of time (we originally wrote the program mainly for this reason). You do not need to manage links between your pages. You create pages with HTML content. The tree menu contains all your links. When you add or delete pages from your web site, all you need to do is add or delete links from your tree menu and re-write the menu. Advanced features:write your own script to change a tree menu, automatically add multiple links and folders to the tree from your hard disk at either build time, run time or by ASP server side scripting, read the tree menu from a database.
