Acmeta Fragmento
By Acmeta
If your professional activities involve using the Internet, then you have probably experienced times when you need to print, save, transfer to your handheld, or otherwise use some information from a web page. And, usually you do not need the entire page, with its navigation, banners and advertising, and other stuff. These unnecessary parts of the web page are sometimes harmful by making the page so wide that it does not even fit the paper in your printer, or the screen of your handheld, etc. A common solution to this problem is to select the necessary part of the page, copy it to the clipboard and paste it into some other application like Microsoft Word or Notepad where it can be printed or saved. If you have ever done this, then you know that selecting a part of the page with the mouse is often inconvenient (especially if this part is large and spanning several screen lengths), copying and pasting is annoying, and in most cases, the result loses its original formatting. Acmeta Fragmento allows you to visually select a part of a web page, transform the selected part into a new page (preserving the original formatting), and open it in a new browser window. You can continue to use the extracted fragment just like you would any other web page. Fragmento is easy-to-use and integrates into your browser (currently Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 and higher are supported).

Web Site Zapper
By Leithauser Research
Web Site Zapper is a Windows 95/98/2000/ME/XP software program (does not work on NT) that closes Web browsers that are displaying undesirable Web sites. It can be used for several purposes: 1) Blocking your browser from being redirected to dangerous or undesirable sites, such as those infected with viruses. 2) Blocking popups 3) Access control, to allow parents, schools, and employers to prevent children, students, or employees from going to undesirable sites, such as pornography or gambling sites. 4) Controlling when people can access the Internet. Web Site Zapper has a password protected switch to turn off blocking, so you simply have Web Site Zapper block all Web sites until you are present and can turn off the blocking. Parents can use this to control how much time children spend on the Internet. With Web Site Zapper, you compile a list of good and bad Web site titles and/or URLs (Web addresses). You can add Web site titles and URLs to these lists manually, or have Web Site Zapper build these lists automatically in learning mode. Once you have built a list of Web sites, Web Site Zapper can operate in either of two modes. It can either close down any site on the bad site list (Block mode), or close down any site NOT on the good site list (Allow mode). You would use Block Mode if you want to allow general browsing, but block access to some objectionable sites. You would use Allow Mode if you want to restrict access to a few specific sites or subjects. The Allow mode is most common for businesses, where the work requires the employees to access certain sites, but the employers do not want the employees doing general Web surfing on company time.

WebWrap
By Tac-Software
WebWrap is a small utility program to compress and code your HTML web files. It uses either a modified LZSS algorithm or the URL coding procedure, and can reduce the size of your files by more than 50%. It also renders the source of any HTML pages you have created, your design features and your scripts, for example, inaccessible to easy viewing or simple clip and paste procedures. The WebWrapped files you create are self-extracting and do not require any third-party software. In addition to compressing and coding your HTML files, you also have the opportunity to add automatically a password protection script.

TaMiGoN
By Shoecake Games
TaMiGoN is a new and unique logic puzzle game. The game brings together game elements from the Chinese Tangram puzzles and mixes them with modern Action Puzzle ideas such as color and shape matching. This game is a follow up to the popular BoXiKoN game but it''s more like a ''sister game'' than a sequel. TaMiGoN uses a set of shapes based on the Chinese Tangram puzzle. These shapes are made up of triangles and diamonds rather than blocks. TaMiGoN uses a set of 400 different Tangram style shapes! TaMiGoN is optimized for Windows XP but should work on any system with DirectX 7.0 or better.
