It requires no client side software and operates on the server via HTTP and standard multipart HTML forms as defined in RFC 1867. Any code you write to access fields within a standard form will transfer directly to accessing fields within a file upload form. Obviously we''ve had to add some extra functionality to allow special file operations but this is added functionality and doesn''t affect the basic operations in any way. We''re BLOB aware for direct insertion of uploaded files into your database. All data can be saved to disk but is also available as Binary data for insertion into a database. Finally the design of ABCUpload uses state of the art tools and techniques. We code in Visual C++ under ATL for high speed, minimal dependencies and a small footprint. Free license available.
