This is a screen saver for Windows. It generates a static image of a fractal. You can configure the displayed image click Configure button. You can zoom in parts of the fractal and you can choose from three colour schemes. Blues is a colour scheme which uses blue colours, volcano uses yellow and red. The third one is a sort of experiment. By the way, the fractal used is a sort of deformation of a standard Julia fractal. The picture is intentionally static-this screen saver saves your CPU as well. Once the picture is displayed the computer doesn''t have think about this screen saver at all. Because quite often you may leave your computer to do some work, screen savers shouldn''t waste any computer power.

BioniX Wallpaper supports JPG, GIF, BMP, ICO, EMF image files. Soon it will support more image types. This program lets you set the time interval at wich your deskop wallpaper will be changed. You can chose it between one secon and a few years - time elapse gauge. Also, the wallpaper manager has "don''t disturb user" mode (through "automatic shut down" option): images will be changed automatically when Windows starts, then the program will close without user intervention. Like Winamp, Bionix Wallpaper gives you the posibility to gather images from all over the hardisk in one playlist, without changing their physical location. The images can be stored in different directories, on different harddisks, even on different computers. Also, you can make multiple tematic playlists and switch between them whenever you want to. It is easy to interact with the playlists through "Playlist Editor" or "MiniList". This wallpaper cyler supports more then 50.000 image files in one playlist. BioniX gives to the saved playlists the extention BIO and associate itself to ''BIO'' files. This means that the wallpaper cycler will start automaticaly if you doubleclick a WAL file. BioniX Wallpaper has, in adition to the well known tile / stretch / center functions, 2 new smart functions: * smart stretch (if some of your pictures are bigger than your desktop size, BioniX will make them fit without cutting) and * smart tile (if some of your pictures are tiny, BioniX will tile them). This program has an incredible fast algorithm for displaying images / refreshing the desktop. The images from the playlist are displayed by the wallpaper changer randomly / shuffle or continuously. The main objective of Linkz is to connect all the open ends of the pipes, electronic circuits, roads or whatever tiles you may be using together so they form continuos shapes. And all this takes place in the form as a race against time. A simple enough task you might think. Granted, a 5 x 5 map is not very difficult to complete (try and top my 6 seconds!) but the bigger the maps get the more complex the shapes will be and you should be busy quite some time solving a 50 x 50 map. For those who don''t want to have the game take this long there is also the option to choose any size between 5 x 5 and 50 x 50 and there are also some default sizes to choose from so you can compete with your friends. You will have access to a range of 10 different sets of tiles with some very strange and interresting alternatives, the smart person will learn how to use the characteristics of every set of tiles to his own advantage as Linkz will allow you to swap tiles during the game. Besides having these 10 pre-designed sets of Tiles you can also use your own self-made sets or use sets downloaded elsewhere. You can create custom tiles using any graphics application and download the Tiles Development Kit (TDK) for information and some samples and templates. Although all maps can be solved, you might get into problems when you''re working with a big map and lose track of the open ends, for those people there is an option to graphically mark all the open ends so you can quickly see where there''s more work to be done. Control is done by mouse, left click to rotate the tile below the mouse pointer clockwise, right click to go the other way around. Most of the other features are conveniently available through the Function keys so you can quickly select a new map if things get rough.
