Talking Partner Dictionary for Windows provides bidirectional word translation and synthesis of speech. The dictionary is easy to install on a desktop computer. One of its remarkable features is voice function, i.e. the ability to pronounce words. Now you don''t have to check the transcription, merely select the word and with one click make the speech synthesizer pronounce it for you. The synthesizer (Text-to-Speech engine) is based on a new approach to speech synthesis, i.e. on formanta synthesis, which creates a human vocal tract simulation by modeling sounds of a national language. Highlited features: - Pronunciation of all the listed English words. The function is developed on the basis of the TTS (Text-to-Speech) technology. - User vocabulary: the user''s own dictionary is compiled by adding and editing dictionary entries - Instant translation of a text fragment, quick paste function: merely select the text fragment for import from an application and press hotkeys Ctrl+Insert+Insert. The text fragment will be automatically inserted in the input line and the most relevant dictionary entry will be displayed. - Parts of speech filter. This function makes the dictionary process only translations belonging to the selected parts of speech. - English Grammar Module. The Module includes grammar rules divided into 3 sections - Parts of Speech, Verbs and Sentence. The first section describes nouns, articles, prepositions, adjectives, adverbs, pronouns and numerals. In the section "Verbs" you can find rules referring to tenses of verbs, special verb forms. The "Sentence" section is devoted to statements and commands, questions and negations. The Module is a great aid for the English grammar study. Vocabulary size is 550,000 words/phrases.

Red Rock Canyons features beautiful scenes of spectacular desert canyons of the canyon country on the Colorado Plateau presented for your desktop enjoyment. The pictures are accompanied by an acoustically based digital soundtrack, and all images are captioned. The advanced screen saver engine includes a Wallpaper feature allows you to select any image in the screen saver as your Desktop Wallpaper, i.e., the Background Image. Additional user controls include: adjusting image caption placement, size, color, font and style; delay between picture changes; showing pictures full-screen or at original size; muting the audio; using more than 50 transition effects. Images in the screen saver include: Grand Canyon, Canyon de Chelly, both in Arizona; Zion Canyon, Labyrinth Canyon, Willis Creek, all in Utah; El Malpus, New Mexico; and many other uniquely beautiful wild canyon locations. Using the Wallpaper Feature Right-click the Screen Saver Icon on the Windows Task Bar and select "Configure Screen Saver". In the Screen Saver List select the title of your Imagedancer Screen Saver you wish to configure. Select the Wallpaper Tab and select the image you would like to use as your Desktop Background (Wallpaper). You may also select how you would like the image presented, i.e., Stretched to fill the screen, Tiled with multiple images to fill the screen, or the original size of the selected image. The Wallpaper selection may be changed at any time. To revert to the Windows Desktop go to the Display Properties dialog box and select the image from the list presented there. This feature applies to all Natural Image Screen Saver versions 2003 and later.
