MITCalc - Spur Gear Calculation
By MITCalc
Geometric design and strength check of spur gear with straight and helical toothing. Application is developed in MS Excel, is multi-language and supports Imperial and Metric units and solves the following main tasks: - Calculation of helical and straight toothing (external). - Automatic design of a transmission with the minimum number of input requirements. - Design for entered coefficients of safety (static, dynamic). - Calculation of complete geometric parameters (including corrected toothing). - Optimization of toothing by use of proper correction (balancing specific slips, miminizing specific slips, strength...). - Calculation of strength parameters, safety check. - Design of gearing for exact axis distance. - Supplementary calculations (calculation of parameters of the existing gear, temperature rise, design of shafts, check dimensions). - Support of 2D and 3D CAD systems. - Drawings of an accurate tooth shape including data (X,Y coordinates). - Support of 2D CAD (AutoCAD, AutoCAD LT, IntelliCAD, Ashlar Graphite, TurboCAD) and 3D CAD in full calculation package (Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, SolidEdge, Pro/E). The calculations use procedures, algorithms and data from standards ANSI, ISO, DIN, BS and specialized literature. Used standards: ISO 6336, ISO 1328, DIN 3990, ANSI B6.1-1968, AGMA 2001-C95, AGMA 2001-D04, AGMA 908-B89/95 and others. This module is a part of MITCalc - Mechanical and Technical Calculation Package for gear, belt and chain drives, springs, beam, shaft, bolt connection, shaft connection, tolerances and many others

TS-MIDI Editor
By TallStick Software
TS-MIDI Editor allows you to quickly and effectively correct the results of the automatic recognition (for example, by TS-AudioToMIDI). The editor is designed similarly to a Piano Roll, i.e. the time axis is located horizontally, and different positions on the vertical line correspond to different pitches. Among the functions of TS-MIDI Editor, there are functions like adding/removing notes; changing pitch and duration; playback of the result. Furthermore, Note Editor allows saving intermediate results as special files (.tsme). The editor lets you play a fragment of the MIDI file, therefore, allowing you to remove erroneous notes, which could have appeared during the recognition process, piece by piece. For your convenience, the editor has several operating modes. In the editing mode ("Edit Tool") you can move the notes, change their duration, create new notes ("Create notes" option) and also "glue" together the notes, erroneously divided by the automatic algorithm ("Glue" Option). In "Delete Tool" mode, you can quickly remove the unnecessary notes at once. At any time, you can play the entire composition or the assigned fragment, at a normal or slow speed. One of the useful TS-MIDI Editor features is the ability of temporarily muting the notes. In this case, the muted notes are displayed as colored boxes and do not sound at playback. That way, you can evaluate the editing results, with some specific notes muted or enabled. Additional editor features include the scale selection, editing of the color scheme ( "Edit Color Scheme"), editing a specific note''s attributes separately (velocity, duration, channel, track, patch) as well as the attributes of the new notes by default and the MIDI file''s properties. You can cancel any number of the produced manipulations at any time (Undo).

Mixere
By CKCI
Mixere is a free, open-source application for mixing audio files. It runs on Windows NT/2000/XP, and supports WAV, AIFF, MP3, Ogg Vorbis, Flac, and Mod audio files. Mixere is ideal for live performance, and especially for creating multi-layered sound collages. It''s like a rack full of CD players connected to an automated mixer. Features include: dynamic looping and triggering of audio - automated volume, pan, and pitch sliders - soft (gradual) mute/solo operations - crossfading between documents - snapshots, for rapid scene changes - unlimited undo - clipboard support, drag and drop - variable automation waveforms - intuitive and easy to learn - comprehensive help - low CPU/memory usage - unlimited audio file size - no installer, standalone .EXE file. A Mixere document consists of a number of tracks, each containing a single audio file. Any number of tracks can play simultaneously, subject only to Windows and sound card performance limits. Audio is streamed directly from disk, so there''s no limit on audio file size, and no waiting for audio to be loaded into memory. Mixere''s interface is similar to a spreadsheet. The rows are tracks, and the columns are properties which can be adjusted for each track: name, transport (play/pause/stop/loop), mute/solo, volume, pan, pitch (two octaves), and audio position. Mixere doesn''t record, but its output can be captured using a third-party audio capture tool, such as River Past Audio Capture (highly recommended!). Mixere doesn''t use much CPU or memory, so it coexists peacefully with other audio applications. Mixere is licensed under the GPL, and uses an open-source audio library called Audiere. It''s a standalone executable, so there''s no installer. Try it! If you don''t like it, just delete it.
